Questions

Grillz FAQ

Fit, care, safety and timing — the things people ask us before their first set.

How long does a custom set take?

It depends on the metal and how much stone work is involved. A plain silver set is the fastest; gold and fully iced sets take longer because of casting and hand setting. Message us with your dates and we'll confirm a turnaround before you commit.

Do grillz damage your teeth?

A properly fitted removable set does not alter your teeth — nothing is drilled, filed or glued. The risks come from wearing a set that fits badly, sleeping in it, or leaving food and plaque trapped underneath. Take them out to eat and sleep, and clean both the grillz and your teeth.

Can I eat and drink with grillz in?

We recommend taking them out to eat. Chewing puts pressure on the caps and traps food between the metal and the enamel. Water is fine; sugary drinks are not a good idea while wearing them.

Will it affect how I talk?

There's usually a short adjustment period, especially with a top set. Most people speak normally within a day or two of wearing.

How do I clean them?

Brush the inside and outside with a soft brush and warm soapy water, rinse and dry fully before storing. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners on stone-set pieces — they can loosen settings and dull the metal.

Do I need to be in Bangkok for the mould?

For the most accurate fit, yes — an in-person impression is best. If you can't come in, ask us about a mould kit and we'll explain how it works for your situation.

Can you ship internationally?

Get in touch with your country and we'll confirm shipping options and timing for your order.

Do you resize or repair existing grillz?

Send photos of the set and describe the issue. We'll tell you whether it can be adjusted, re-polished, re-set or is better remade.
